Officer Fil Cuesta Memorial T-shirt

Officer Fil Cuesta was assigned to the Southwest Gang Enforcement Detail.  On the evening of August 8, 1998, he was ambushed by a gang member who opened fire on him and his partner as they awaited additional units to respond to their location,  Officer Cuesta succumbed to his injuries the following day.  He was 26 years old and served with the LAPD for four years.  He is survived by his wife and two young daughters.
